What is the Baldwin-Whitehall High School Gifted program?
The Baldwin-Whitehall school district is committed to providing students at all levels of education with the enrichment opportunities. These enrichment opportunities begin in the elementary schools through the gifted education program and continue until graduation from the senior high school. The program services students who exceed the levels of mastery in the regular classroom. The high school gifted program challenges and provides hands on opportunities to students through enrichment based competitions, events and career oriented projects. These skills help to further develop the students academic skills as well as create challenges which may not always be available in the regular classroom. Students involved in the high school gifted program range from grades 9-12 and allow the student to pick and choose his or her enrichment opportunities based on academic skills, interest and career focus.
